IMV’s 2026 Oncology in Diagnostic Imaging Market Outlook Report gives medical imaging manufacturers, suppliers, and strategy teams a current, quantified view of how U.S. hospitals and outpatient imaging centers perform oncology-related imaging across CT, MRI, PET, SPECT, C-arm, mammography, X-ray, and ultrasound systems.

The report is built on an IMV-hosted online survey of 215 qualified radiology administrators and managers, technologists, and radiologists who are involved in operating those departments and in equipment purchase decisions. It reports department priorities, procedure volume and mix, the installed base of scanners, equipment purchase plans through 2029, industry trends including AI adoption, and site operations characteristics, with 2026 results compared to 2023 to show where the market is heading.

The report includes more than 150 slides with over 100 graphs and exhibits in PowerPoint format, and it will allow you to:

  • Prioritize facility types with higher purchase intent and known budgets and defend share against competitive displacement.
  • Size demand by modality and segment and focus commercial effort where oncology-related imaging volume is concentrated.
  • Align product roadmaps and R&D to the priorities and AI use cases that sites report they are adopting.
  • Benchmark installed base market share by manufacturer, and track how it has shifted since 2023.

Findings can be viewed at the total-market level and hospital bed size, so teams can move from a top-level read to the specific segments that shape their plans.
